Machine Head – Halo

The Blackening het in 2006 uitgekom, 8 jaar terug.

“Halo” is ‘n 09:04 song. Dit is great.

And to think I got the CD for R20 at Cash Crusaders two weeks after it’s release 🙂

Some dude’s mom threw out his entire collection and it was an incredible find. Definitely the best metal album of the last decade at least

My first Machine Head exposure was Unto the Locust. Incredible sound. Technical yet brutal. Thanks for the article. Will get my hands on this album. Do yourself a favour and listen to the new In Flames “Siren Charms”. Mind blowing even if you aren’t an In Flames fan

@Barry: Yeah man, make sure you pick The Blackening up, you can order it from kalahari.com now for only R87 and if you use the link in the article kalahari.com throws a few cent in our direction, so it’s double win. The article is only a pleasure. Thank you for leaving a comment. Nice to hear from the lurkers every now and then.

Whenever you see a Cash Crusaders or Cash Converters or whatever, pop in for 2min and scan the CDs. So many kids’ parents get rid of “dodgy” music. Machine Head, Metallica, Trivium, Korn etc almost always available for R10-R20 a CD
