Dope Coconut Christmas Cookies recipe

Christmas time is right around the corner. Christmas time undoubtedly means family time and that most certainly means that at some point, someone is going to have to chill. If there is one thing that will make your Christmas more chill than any other Christmas ever, it’s Dope Coconut Christmas Cookies. Don’t ask me why but this recipe always makes me think of the holiday period with family, especially my grandma that used to bake these (minus the cannabis oil).

A re-enactment of the Dope Coconut Christmas Cookies just like grandma used to make them, but with a new cannabis oil ingredient

It’s a simple recipe that makes delicious cookies, and it’s one of my favorite recipes to medicate with cannabis oil. Yes, you can use canna-butter instead of normal butter in the recipe. Personally, I find just adding the cannabis oil to the butter an easier way to medicate any batch of cookies. If you are looking for a recipe to make cannabutter, you can find it in my cannabis oil recipe book here. It’s only R42 so buy yourself a copy for Christmas.

Dope Coconut Christmas Cookies

Ingredients:

  • One and a half cups of flour
  • Half a cup of butter (Can be replaced with Coconut Oil if you prefer)
  • One cup of sugar
  • Two Eggs
  • Half a teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • Half a teaspoon of lemon juice
  • Two cups of desiccated Coconut
  • A Pinch of salt
  • One gram of cannabis oil

Method:

Pre-heat over to 180 °C. Take half of the butter and heat it on the stove in a pot. Once the butter has melted ad the cannabis oil. Stir until the cannabis oil has completely dissolved in the butter.

Mix all the dry ingredients. Beat the eggs, butter and cannabis oil butter together. Then mix the mixed wet ingredients with the mixed dry ingredients. Make little balls of dough and place them on a baking tray about 5 centimeters apart. Flatten each dough ball with your hand or a fork.

Bake the Dope Coconut Christmas Cookies in the oven at 180 °C until golden brown. Should take 10 – 15 minutes.

Always test your cannabis edibles

When making cannabis edibles it’s always important to test each batch carefully. Depending on the cannabis or cannabis oil that you used, your Dope Coconut Christmas cookies could have a vastly different dose of cannabis than the cookies I made. That’s why it’s important to test your cookies by eating only half a cookie and waiting at least three hours to gauge the effects of your cookies.

And this is what you make your Dope Coconut Christmas cookies look like if you want to give your grandma a heart attack.

After trying half a cookie and waiting three hours you will know how strong of a dose each cookie is, and that way you won’t turn anyone’s Christmas into a bad time. Instead, everyone can decide for themselves how many cookies to have and then everyone can have the most chilled out Christmas since the personal use of Cannabis has been decriminalized in South Africa.

If you are too broke to spend R42 on my cookbook, how about you get it for free here?

Disclaimer:

I don’t know where you get your cannabis or cannabis extract. This recipe is for informational purposes only. If anyone decided to make this recipe they take full responsibility for their actions and can in no way try and shift blame at anyone other than themselves. Test your dose and enjoy responsibly.

Also, for the love of Darth Vader, I’m joking about family time needing these cookies. Time with family is great. Unless your family is that way inclined, do not give these cookies to anyone without being 100% completely honest about what it is they will be eating. Dosing people without telling them is not cool.
